THEY SAID THIS!The Venue entertained around 1600 music loving people over the Easter week
with not one disappointment. From four top comedians to Ballroom Glitz
and from The Jamm to even England whooping Northern Ireland 4-0 on our new
10ft Screen, but out of the eleven groups that the Nags had over the Easter
period one stood out above the rest – INOFFENSIVE.
To think that the band only formed over a year ago, it's amazing to see how far
the band have come on in such a short time and I would go as far as saying that
the quality of INOFFENSIVE now stands along side "Strangers" who have been
going for more than Twenty years.
The band now oozes with quality and best of all… confidence, which a lot of bands
now have difficulty coping with now that Nags has doubled in size.
Many a band fall into the dreaded ' I KNOW WHAT'S COMING NEXT ' pit,
where most customers love to moan to me asking why bands play
the same stuff gig after gig??? Not INOFFENSIVE, they are possibly
one of only a few bands who guarantee you a new song at each gig,
and the highlight of their gig (Easter Saturday) was
a song by Guns n Roses - 'Welcome to the jungle', which I may say most
bands wouldn’t touch due to it's difficulty…keep it up lads!
Bands like INOFFENSIVE just make my life a little easier in the Hard Muso World."

Victoria Hotel (The Vic Bikers Pub) Coalville 4th March 2005
The Victoria Bikers Pub in Coalville Leicestershire played host to INOFFENSIVE
Here at the Vic we’re not bias in any way, but for a girl to portray a bloke’s vocal
During the sound check the band musically were very good, very tight,
Once the levels had been established she sounded quite sweet You could always tell it was a girlie singer, but that it no way
I’m trying to find something to knock the band but can’t.
Maybe next time she'll throw caution to the wind and sit one on her knee Cheers John.www.vicbikerspub.co.uk

Thanks to John at The Vic for the following article.
on Friday March 4th. When I first booked them I was not sure about the girlie singer,
but then again neither was I about Sandra from Krazylegs, or Rachel from Strangers,
but they both soon put me in my place.
and get away with it seems a bit of a task???
which is what any good venue wants from a band, but what we were all
really waiting in anticipation for was Michelle’s vocal to kick in.
In a way I was glad to be standing 20 feet from the stage.....
a very powerful voice... (which needed tweaking down a bit on the mixing desk)
but managed to put a bigger head on my beer.
with a voice very capable of taking off Robert Plant, Axl Rose and Bon Scott
plus a host of other Squealers.
reflected on the night’s entertainment, which from the punters
mouths was... ‘A Rocking Good Night!!’
It might be nice to see a bit more interaction between Michelle
and the punters, but it was their first gig at The Vic,
and hey... it’s a Bikers pub, steady as she goes.
and sing him a lullaby, get to the back of the queue... I’m first!!!!
See you again on 3rd June.
following Inoffensive’s appearance at their ‘Robfest’ event.
The Shoulder of Mutton MCC subsequently booked Inoffensive
to appear at their annual ‘Cowpat Rally’ in July 2005
The band from Nuneaton volunteered to play at short notice for the event
held in Pinxton, Derbyshire.
Robin, who suffered multiple injuries in a bike accident this year.
they are well worth a mention. Seriously worth a listen to and we
had some great feedback from the crowd.
