"I didn’t learn to play guitar until I was 21 so been
playing nearly 3 years now …haha..
but always I was always listening from around the age
of 13 to guitar riffs from songs, loved guitar solo
in 'Tommy' by Focus and listened to
various artists but the one that blew me away was
'Shine On' by Pink Floyd
when I was 18 I had to get that track!
and I did on vinyl! then cassette! then cd!
and I suppose whatever comes next.

I had a couple of guitars, just acoustics, which
didn’t really ‘float my boat’, but when I got my
first electric at 21 was when I was on a mission!
Someone did say have a go at the bass, I said:
'I’d like people to talk to and have friends!

By 22 I was playing live with Dark Star
which became Xyphoid and I played
for a year and a half at various venues
throughout the Midlands which ended when
we had our guitars nicked! after a gig in Coventry

So... I took a sabbatical for 20 years!!!
but the lust of musical excitement was still
in my blood.
It was a chance chat with Michelle (InOffensive's enigmatic frontperson!) which really
started the ball rolling and before I knew it IN OFFENSIVE was born.

My stage gear is Peavey 5150 Amp and cab. Guitars are ESP M1000 and Gibson
Les Paul Custom, TC Electronic Rack Effect and a couple of stomp boxes.
