THE VOICE

"I started singing for my supper when I was born!
My formative years were spent singing in my bedroom
along to the delights of The Eurythmics,
Whitney Houston, Bananarama! - ulp!

From this auspicious start it was inevitable I'd
graduate to ... Karaoke!! I tried it for a
few years but it just didn’t satisfy my musical
yearnings!

It twas a chance talk with Steve (Robinson)
which made me decide I'd give rock music a go
which, I'm relieved to say is where my
real musical heart was although I have
to say its wrecked my true singing voice now.

With the kind of music we play I find it
very challenging to sing ‘mens’ songs, though
ultimately very rewarding, we do cover a few 'womens'
songs which keep the balance - I like that.

I have met some great genuine people within the rock world (local that is) and made
some good friends along the way. There's been some real funny times which I won’t go
into on this family website - but hey come and see us play and maybe I’ll tell a couple
of stories - a lager normally does the trick.
